Restricted fasting reduces cancer growth

Fasting reduces cancer growth. This is interesting. Apparently, the body know how to optimize nutrients when there is nutrients scarcity. The body diverts nutrients to ensure maintenance of cells and not growth of cells. Normal cells understands this but not Cancer cells. Cancer cells keeps growing and demands nutrients which there is none. So, since there is none available, the cancer cells will just stop growing. I wonder if it will shrink? However, this method has only been tested on mice. It was used in conjunction with chemotherapy.

I got this information from this link
