Can Cancer be killed by manipulating an enzyme?

Found another research on cancer development.

We know cancer is uncontrollable growth of 'rogue' cells. So the question is how do these rogue cells become so 'superior' that they can grow uncontrollably?

Apparently, according to Dr Chai in her research, Cancer cells are immortal!!. Our body cells have a DNA structure that gets shorter as it replicates. It will replicate until that structure gets too short to replicate anymore and the normal cells then dies... 'kaputs'

But for the cancer cells, it seems that it can activate an enzyme which extends that DNA structure, thus the Cancer cells continue to grow.

But what intrigues me the most about this research is this. If Cancer cells can somehow trigger this enzyme and permits it (cancer cells) to continue to grow, and if normal cells can do this, wouldn't this be the "Fountain of Youth?" We all will be Young forever. Yahoo...But then I am digressing.

So the research is if they can target to prevent the Cancer cells from activating the enzyme.
