What does belief have to do with cancer

When you are faced with a disease that is as life threatening as Cancer, beside going for medical treatment, one think you can do to help yourself to have self-belief. So what is positive belief? Wrote an article on this and how I somehow stumbled upon this during my chemo treatment. I had lot of help especially divine help. There was no way I could do this on my own.
