When I was going through Chemotherapy initially, the tumors went down so fast by 50% only after 1/4 of the Chemotherapy treatment. But as I took in more Chemotherapy session, the effectiveness was not so good and my body was taking a toll because of Chemotherapy. I knew, even without any research that Chemotherapy is really not the way to go to kill Cancer. I was very lucky that the cancer cells were eliminated when I completed my 12 rounds of Chemo.
Here is an article that state what I already know.
1) Chemotherapy works well only in the beginning.
2) As more cycles are done, cancer cells somehow gets immune to it and the Chemotherapy is no longer effective.
3) In fact, it become counter productive since it kills all the healthy ones, which you really need to rebuild your own body.
The article even found out that as healthy cells can damage, they produce a protein which is absorbed by the cancer cells and makes them immune to the Chemotherapy. So this is how the cancer cells protect itself.
